Illumin8 Festival of Light and Peace at the Great Stupa – May 18th – 20th

Illumin8 is a three-day event to Celebrate peace and harmony inspired by Buddha’s life. Held annually at The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in May. Walk through the Peace Park and interact with different light sculptures and installations as you travel from one stage to the next experiencing multicultural performances.

Browse markets stalls and eat delicious vegetarian and vegan food. End the day with an animated light show on The Great Stupa and spectacular fireworks. This year there will also be the installation and unveiling of the internationally known Jade Buddha for Universal Peace.

Money raised through ticket sales, merchandise and online fundraising will help to fund our critical work in the community, including the care of more than 20,000 animals entering our shelters each year. Every dollar you raise will make a big difference and will help us raise $500,000 to support our work to fight against animal cruelty.

Please note, all clothing for humans will only be available for purchase online and will not be available on the day. Bandannas and coats for your pooch will be available online and on the day.
