A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR

We are hitting the pointy end of the calendar year with Christmas and some long awaited holidays for many families.  Usually this means real estate tapers off in November.  Not the case this year – our wonderful sales team had our strongest month with 32 listings and our rental team has let out 13 properties which will keep our team very busy throughout the Christmas period.

Generally the market has been travelling well, we still have good numbers of enquiries on properties, interest in selling homes is still quite strong and the rental market has been ticking along at a very good pace – with some record prices being achieved.

We have expanded and welcome Kayla Rayner to our team, Kayla is joining our wonderful property management team along with Catherine, Bec, Jacky, Casey and Darcie.  We will be saying goodbye to Renae Boucher in the new year – Renae has been our admin backbone for the past two and a half years and is heading on a trip of a lifetime – best of luck Renae.

We are making a few subtle changes moving into the new year including some website tweaks and a direction change to more video marketing thanks to our guru Jackson who is now our specialist media and social media team member.

We are continuing to work through the pandemic, we are generally avoiding Open Houses and continuing with private organised inspections which is working great. The market in general looks like it will continue into 2022 which is very exciting for investors and home owners, rental returns will continue and hopefully migration, with the opening of our local university and tourism, will keep our market strong towards the end of next year if interest rates rise a little.
