May was another stellar month for our team with record sale numbers and prices continually setting new benchmarks. There has been a real β€œsnowball effect” with sellers becoming buyers now in the higher-end of the market, yet there is still huge demand for properties in the sub $550,000 price bracket with families, first home buyers and investors all quite active. Median prices have risen again the past quarter, on average Greater Bendigo’s median price has increased over 20% in the past 12 months. Stock is getting a little tight as we move into winter, which will keep prices strong, however this will change towards the end of the financial year. Our property management department is hectic with minimal vacancies and plenty of demand. Rentals again have been increasing, in some cases by 15% due to a lack of available properties around Bendigo. This is heavily impacted by new land developments waiting for approval and titles being released which will hopefully be relived towards the end of the year. In general business is going great, we have added a new team member Darcie who is very keen to pursue a career in real estate. Darcie will be helping in reception and property management.


We are very pleased to announce that our hard-working Property Management department manager, Catherine Beecroft has become a Director of PH Property. Catherine, a Licensed Estate Agent herself has made a huge impact to the direction and level of professionalism within our Property Management department which has helped the business grow.  She has been with PH Property for three years and brings a total of 20 years of property management experience to the fore. Catherine looks forward to working with current and new clients.  We all sincerely wish you the best of luck moving forwards Catherine.

A big birthday month, celebrating Darcie, Catherine, Simon and Samantha’s Birthday.


A big shout out to the mums in and outside of our office, we appreciate everything you do for our team.


Darcie joins our team with great passion for real estate and plenty of prior customer service experience, having worked in the retail industry for 5 years. You’ll get the pleasure of greeting her over the phone and at the front of the office as she is now our newest receptionist, she will also be assisting our property management team. Outside of work, Darcie loves playing netball and spending time with family & friends. We’re excited to have you Darcie, your enthusiastic and bubbly personality will make a great addition to our team.


Corinne has been completing her certificate IV in Property services and is now a fully licensed estate agent! We admire all of Corinne’s hard work she has put in to get to this point and wish her all the success in the future as a newly licensed agent.


On the 5th of May four members from our team had the privilege of explaining the ins and outs of working in real estate at the 2021 Careers Night at Catherine McAuley College.
