Well, we are off to flying start in 2022. With sales and rental teams hitting the ground running. Now that we’re in a new year, this is the ideal time to be speaking with your investment team about planning for maximizing your investment property this year.  First speak with Property Manager what is the market doing? Will your renters be staying long term? How can you maximise income? Will your property meet the new compliance regulations and if not what do you need to budget for? Next, speak with your financial advisor (accountant, financial planner, etc) about these improvements and how best to plan for these expenses over the next 12 months, and how to maximise your deductions at the end of the financial year.  Do you have enough equity to enter the investment market again? The rental market has continued with upward trend with 18 homes leased at average rent of $441 per week. This is an increase of 12% from December 2021.
